"The hand carved face features Cupid playing a Celtic Harp underneath a Crown and Olive Branch while a Spinning Wheel rests in the background. Atop the scene scrolls the words "GOOD LVCK * HOW WE HAVE WHEELD..." with the last word being illegible.
I love rings like this with their mystery and hidden symbolism. Cupid and a Harp are obvious signs of Love where the Spinning Wheel represents Time. A Crown can be fealty and faithfulness while the Olive Branch is peace. The Shank is decorated with scrolling Ivy leaves, symbolizing fidelity.
Whoever had this ring commissioned over a century ago did so with the utmost intention of bestowing Love, Luck and a whole lot of Thought upon the wearer."
