Ah, the tulip. The common flower can certainly seem a little blasé these days.
But did you know that, at one time, buying tulips outside of Constantinople could lead to execution? Or that they nearly caused economic collapse in the 1600s when some bulbs cost more than a house?
(Yeah - us either.)
Fortunately for you, our Tulip Ring won’t cost you your life or your house. (Phew!)
But that’s not to say it wouldn’t totally be worth it!
This little lady was produced in the early years of Victoria’s reign — A time when the tulip had moved past its life of crime to become a symbol of romance and the new queen was young and in love. Likely made by hand, our Tulip Ring features a scrolling 18k gold band and approximately 1ct of rose cut diamonds perfectly arranged in the shape of its sentimental namesake.
An undeniable beauty, we’re pretty sure a love-struck young Victoria would have appreciated this one… because, honestly, what could possibly scream romance more?
